All Staff to Wear Masks Across NSLHD
-
Published December 21, 2020
Yesterday, your NSLHD CE, Deb Willcox, advised the HSU that masks must now be worn by ALL staff and visitors to NSLHD Hospitals and services.
The HSU supports this decision and encourages you to follow this direction for your own safety and that of your patients, visitors, colleagues and family. It is a precautionary measure and I am sure you appreciate every effort must be made now to contain the spread of COVID-19 across Sydney.
As some of you on the Northern Beaches are in lockdown and this situation is evolving, should you have any concerns about the availability of PPE, leave arrangements, workplace change or redeployment, please contact Member Services on 1300 478 679 or email [E-Mail not displayed].
Your union is here to support and guide you through any workplace changes associated with COVID-19 responses and to ensure your safety at work, as it has through 2020 and will continue to do so throughout 2021. If you have colleagues who are not yet members of the HSU, please encourage them to join online at www.hsu.asn.au/join or by phone 1300 478 679.
In unity,
Gerard Hayes
Secretary HSU NSW/QLD/ACT
