Multiloading Bans Still in Place

As a reminder, HSU members have not lifted the bans on multiloading patients and so these bans remain in place. While the bans were especially important during the height of COVID, they were put in place long before the pandemic. This is to ensure the safety of PTOs and dignity for patients.
If you are directed to multiload, simply respond by saying that you are an HSU member and that you are enforcing union bans.
If any HSU member is reprimanded for adhering to the full ban on multiloading, they are to get in touch with their local delegate or the HSU office. They will be supported 100% by the union and appropriate action will be considered, including stoppages, to counteract any attack on individual workers.
Bans remain in place until the union (the workers in the workplace) lift them.
In unity,
Gerard Hayes
Secretary, HSU NSW/ACT/QLD
