Dear Member,

Prince of Wales Hospital has notified the HSU of Work Health and Safety concerns relating to the Emergency Department Assessment Unit (EDAU) which have been communicated to SafeWork NSW.

Staff representatives raised concerns over the design of the Emergency Department Assessment Unit staff station and SafeWork NSW visited the site on 12 June 2024.

Commencing Monday, 24 June 2024 and running until Friday, 28 June 2024, the hospital is conducting on-site consultation meetings to address staff’s concerns.
