Dear Member,

Following member feedback, your bargaining representatives provided Healthe Care with a counter wage offer of 4.5 per cent per year at today’s bargaining meeting.

Healthecare have indicated it will provide a response to the offer at the next meeting on June 6. However, management have agreed to your following claims: increased uniform allowance, safer work environment clauses, 10 days paid ceremonial leave, an increase to partner leave and a two week increase to paid parental leave.

HealtheCare has only agreed to these claims because of member activity – members came together and made it clear these things were important.

These are great signs, but to see further improvements we’re going to all work together to achieve an agreement that reflect your value and hard work!
