Draft ACTPS Workplace Privacy and Surveillance Policy for consultation

Dear Member,
ACT Health has advised the HSU about a proposed change to the ACT Public Sector Workplace Privacy and Surveillance Policy.
As an employer, the ACT Public Sector (ACTPS) has a responsibility under the Workplace Privacy Act 2011 to notify its workers of the nature and purpose of workplace surveillance operating within ACTPS directorates and agencies.
The Workplace Privacy Act regulates the collection and use of workplace surveillance information. The purpose of the Policy is to ensure that all ACTPS workplaces comply with the requirements of the WP Act. You can view the correspondence below:
