Nepean Hospital Workplace Bullying
-
Published December 14, 2022
HSU members working in Nepean Hospital Operating Theatres have recently raised concerns about workplace bullying and harassment.
Every staff member has the right to a safe workplace and all workers deserve to go to work without fear.
Your employer has a responsibility to ensure your workplace is free from unreasonable behaviour. This includes:
- Bullying and harassment
- Intimidation
- Humiliating and threatening behaviour
- Written and/or verbal abuse
HSU members have campaigned against bullying in any form. You should feel safe and supported to raise your concerns both internally and with your Union.
If you think you have been subjected to bullying or harassment or have witnessed these behaviours, please contact your HSU Organiser Melissa Kelly via email [E-Mail not displayed]. Members are also encouraged to use the Workplace Incident Diary as a guide to record occasions of bullying.
Do you know someone who isn’t an HSU member? Encourage them to join our Union today and have a say at work. We are always stronger when we stand together.
New members can join at www.hsu.asn.au/join or call 1300 478 679.
