You may be aware of the new 3-hour parking restrictions at Lithgow. The issuing of fines was to start from Monday 1 August. 

Unfortunately, NBMLHD introduced the change without any consultation.

Thanks to strong advocacy from HSU members, NBMLHD has agreed to delay the implementation of the 3-hour parking restrictions for 1 month to engage in genuine consultation with your union. The HSU will be seeking feedback from members to inform the consultation process.

There will be no fines for the 3 hr parking spaces on Monday. However, please note that other parking restrictions will still apply.
