HSU members have called off work stoppages tomorrow as the employer has now escalated the matter to the Industrial Relations Commission.

These workplace stoppages were in response to the employer’s cynical proposal to reduce staffing at Morisset Hospital and Wallsend Health Campus to potentially increase staffing at John Hunter once a review had been conducted.

Your workplace delegates and HSU Officials will now argue your case in the Commission.

HSU members are sick of engaging in talks that lead to nothing and will take further action should these talks prove pointless.
