Macquarie Hospital: Proposed Restructure, Rehabilitation Program
-
Published April 1, 2022
This week, the HSU attended a USCC (Union Specific Consultative Committee) meeting to raise concerns with management relating to a proposed restructure in the Rehabilitation Program at Macquarie Hospital.
Members are concerned that the new reporting lines for Allied Health Professionals and the new multi-disciplinary position of Rehabilitation Program Manager will lead to poorer career progression outcomes for members employed in this program, as well as worse outcomes for patients.
At the below links are the documents the Union has received from NSLHD around this restructure:
- Letter to HSU
- Organisational charts, current and proposed structure
- Position description, Rehabilitation Program Manager
- Position description, Quality and Risk Manager
- Position description, NUM – Mental Health Drug & Alcohol
If you have any further questions please speak to your HSU Organiser, Josh Dodsworth via email at [E-Mail not displayed] or by phone on 0456 911 767.
