Lulworth House underpayments: Have you received your backpay?

Dear Member,
Last month, HSU members came together and raised significant underpayment issues at Lulworth House, including workers being paid the wrong base rate of pay.
Lulworth House confirmed the error and wrote to the HSU to outline a plan to pay affected workers backpay accordingly.
However, it appears that management failed to do so for ALL employees who were impacted.
If you believe that you are eligible for backpay but haven’t been paid it – contact your HSU organiser Hyojung Kim on [E-Mail not displayed] with the following information:
- Copy of your contract
- Payslips (first full pay period after 1 July 2023 and 1 July 2024, and the latest one)
- Confirmation of submission of relevant Certificate III to your employer
If you struggle to find the above documentation, get your payslips ready and email your organiser.
Pass this information to all your workmates. Tell them that HSU members increased the legal minimum wages for aged care workers through four years of fighting our wage case, and rectified wrong wages at your workplace.
