Dear Sub Branch members, Workplace Delegates and Campaign Activists,

The campaign to fix Public Health Awards and remove the unfair wages cap has begun in earnest. It’s clear that we if want Awards that correspond to the actual jobs we do, conditions and allowances that make sense, and wages that recognise the work and professionalism we put in, we have a considerable fight ahead of us. And we’re going to all the help we can get.

To this end, the HSU Public Health Division is planning an Online Lobbying Workshop on Friday 19th February 2021. In attendance will be Gerard Hayes, Secretary HSU NSW/ACT/QLD, and Tanya Plibersek MP, Member for Sydney and Shadow Minister of Education.

This workshop will equip you with the tools you need to become an effective political lobbyist and help win our campaign.
