Job cuts at Hunter New England CAMHS – important meeting to make your voice heard!

Hunter New England Local Health District is proposing to cut five positions as part of a restructure of its Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services.
It’s vital union members have their say and provide feedback on any changes to their workplaces, especially job cuts!
Under the proposed restructure, the LHD plans to cut the following roles:
- CAMHS Community Service Manager
- CAMHS Special Programs Co-ordinator
- CAMHS Newcastle Clinical Lead
- CAMHS Northern Clinical Lead
- CAMHS Lake Macquarie Clinical Lead
Members will also get the chance to discuss the latest restructure documents and ask questions at Friday’s meeting. You can review these documents, sent to the HSU by HNELHD ahead of the meeting:
