The HSU received advice from Hunter New England LHD that the planned temporary relocation of beds from John Hunter and Rankin Park Hospital to the new Maitland Hospital has been delayed by approximately six months.

EOI processes will likely have to be reconducted.

The HSU will continue to engage with HNELHD and HealthShare around the relocation of beds to Maitland. Members will receive communications to collect feedback and opportunities to be involved.
