The HSU recently issued a newsletter and survey about to the ongoing situation in CID at John Hunter. The results are now in and an overwhelmingly majority have endorsed collective action.

At yesterday’s stop work meeting, the following resolutions were endorsed:

“No HSU member from JHH CID will travel to Belmont CID to work (unless it is their preference to do so).

The above action will remain in place until HNELHD: (1) agrees to pay appropriate travel allowances with back pay and (2) assures members that no members will be forced to work at Belmont CID.”

The above resolution commences from first shift Thursday 1 June 2023.

Congratulations to CID members for taking this courageous step and well done to other members at John Hunter for supporting their fellow members in CID.
