Today, HealthShare and eHealth management wrote to the HSU and announced to staff that they will be ceasing operations at the Jessie Street Centre. They revealed the first staff would be moving from 16 October and a final closure date in December 2023. You can see the letters from both eHealth and HealthShare at the below links:

We understand the current plan includes moving all eHealth staff into the Chatswood Office in the Zenith Tower and moving all HealthShare staff to the complex at 1 Reserve Road in St Leonards.

It is disappointing to see jobs moving out of Western Sydney and the move will impact members in different ways. It’s important members provide feedback about what this means for you. Please take a moment to fill out the HSU survey at this link and please share it with your colleagues, whether they are union members or not.

While the current working-from-home arrangements are in place, these need to be strengthened to give members security and certainty for the future.

It’s important that everyone has a chance to voice their concerns in this early stage.
