The HSU has been notified of a proposed restructure of the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District Research Directorate.

ISLHD advises they have decided to establish an independent research institute outside of the LHD. They say this is because of the recent dissolution of partnerships with the Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute (IHMRI) and the Australian Health Services Research Institute (AHSRI).
