ISLHD: Repurposing of beds, Shoalhaven Hospital

The HSU has received correspondence from Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District, detailing a proposal to re-purpose beds at Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital.

The proposal entails using 8 vacant beds in the current Sub-Acute Mental Health building on the SDMH campus for appropriately assessed patients from general inpatient wards.

ISLHD has proposed that the change take place as soon as practically possible.
