Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District has advised the HSU of its intention to restructure the Hotel Services – Wardsperson team at Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital.

The change would involve reallocating 5.14FTE from the 12FTE Wardspersons to Operating Theatre Assistants reporting to the NUM 1 Theatres.

The District says this change is due to Shoalhaven Hospital’s upcoming transition to the new building in 2026.
