Today HSU members submitted our application to the Fair Work Commission for a Protected Action Ballot. This is the first step in exercising your right to industrial action to fight for a better deal!

Members should be incredibly proud of the collective effort to show ICON we stand strong together.

Next steps:

1. The Fair Work Commission will list our application for a Compulsory Conference in the coming days.
2. If our application is successful, the Fair Work Commission will order a ballot to take place will run by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC).
3. Members will be kept updated – continue to check in with your bargaining committee via the WhatsApp group and keep an eye on HSU emails to stay up to date with any developments.
