Port Macquarie Base Hospital will soon have a public pathology lab on site! 

The HSU has received formal notification that pathology services at PMBH will be operated by NSW Health Pathology. You can view the letter at this link.

The HSU will supervise the transition of services and will assist and advocate for members currently working within pathology services. Your HSU Organiser will discuss the transition with workers. You can also email [E-Mail not displayed] with any queries.

For years, HSU members have strongly advocated for pathology services to be operated as a public health service at the PMBH – just the same as other health facilities on the Mid North Coast. At every stage, members have demonstrated their commitment to public health jobs and top health outcomes for the community.
