Following a very successful two years, the HSU Indigenous Development Fund is now accepting applications for a new round of grants.

The HSU is proud to support this important initiative.

The Indigenous Development Fund may grant funding between $2,000.00 and up to $10,000.00 for the implementation of a community-based project. Projects should be completed between March 2023 and June 30, 2023. Applications are invited from community-based organisations working with Indigenous communities in the ACT, NSW and QLD.

The Fund may enable projects to develop new and innovative ways to engage and work with communities in the following priority areas:

• Community development
• Wellbeing programs
• Sporting programs
• Elder programs
• Literacy programs
• Health Initiatives
• Education Initiatives

Submissions from applicants will be reviewed by the HSU Indigenous Development Committee, the voice of Indigenous persons within the Union. Applicants may be contacted with follow up questions if required.
