Yesterday evening, the HSU held an urgent zoom meeting to discuss the Ministry of Health’s application to vary the Health Professional and Medical Salaries (State) Award 2019 and the Hospital Scientists (State) Award 2019 (please see newsletter 975 at this link).

The HSU is strongly opposed to this application as we believe it will negatively affect members’ pay and reduce career progression opportunities. This review is simply about the Ministry saving money to your detriment.

The Union will arrange future meetings to keep members up to date on the legal and industrial campaign against these applications.
