HNELHD have notified the union that a new, purpose-built, mental health facility is planned to be built and located on the Maitland Hospital campus at Metford. You can see the letter here. You can also view the Government’s announcement here.

Some services will be moved from Morisset Hospital to the new facility.

The HSU has requested all available information from HNELHD and that a USCC process be set up and commence soon.
