HealthShare NSW wants to establish a centralised patient billing system and structure. This will create significant change, including that staff involved with Patient Billing functions will to HealthShare NSW over 2025 and 2026. Staff who may be impacted by this should have been notified.

We know there will be big changes with this project. At this stage, HealthShare NSW maintains that there will be no job losses – only transition of staff from LHDs and Specialty Networks to HealthShare.
