HealthShare NSW Heavy Vehicle National Law Compliance for Food and Linen Services drivers

Dear Member,

The HSU has received correspondence from HealthShare NSW about measures to ensure compliance with the Heavy Vehicle National Law across its Linen and Food Services fleet.

HSNSW has approximately 125 heavy vehicle drivers across its Food and Linen Services and HealthShare says a review has been undertaken and a program of work developed to ensure they are compliant with the Heavy Vehicle National Law. This includes additional checks outlined in the correspondence.

HSNSW will consult with its heavy vehicle drivers during July 2024 and have stated it intends a commencement date of these checks from mid-August 2024.
