Health Professional Award Reform: Now Is Our Time
-
Published November 21, 2024
HSU Allied Health members have waited long enough for new and modern Awards which recognise the complexity of our work, and the understaffing and poor pay which is bleeding skilled professionals to other states or the NDIS.
Now is our time to change this situation. HSU Allied Health delegates have worked tirelessly to develop a new Award which creates new conditions, classifications and improved pay to attract and retain staff.
HSU Allied Health delegates are ready to present these claims to members for feedback. All members classified as Health Professionals (see below for complete list of professions covered) are invited to attend a mass meeting on December 12 at the following times. Please register early as this is required for attendance.
Meeting times:
- December 12 at 12:30pm-1:30pm: registration link here
