HSU members at Gosford Hospital have endorsed work bans based on the current unreasonable wages and salary packaging.
Please find below the HSU member-endorsed work bans:
Allied Health OT
- Not answering emails and have out of office reply (am currently taking part in HSU Industrial action)
- Will not complete clinical stats
PSA
- Stop work from 11hrs to 15hrs (4hrs)
- No discharge / isolation cleans
- No rubbish and linen to be collected
- Remaining in allocated zones
- No bed moves
- No restocking
- Food services
- No meal orders at all
- No morning tea supper service
- No extra duties
- No delivering of late meals
- No meal intake registering
- No delivering of morning tea, afternoon tea and supper
- Security
- No id processing
- Not answering emails and have out of office reply (am currently taking part in HSU Industrial action)
- C/ART responses demanding to be led by Clinicians
- Work to rule
Sterilisation unit
- No delivery/Taxi
- Not answering Admin phone to divert to Manager
- No admin work
Allied Health Pharmacy
- Pharmacy members will start and finish work on time, and take all breaks
- Pharmacy members will claim overtime if required to work additional time
- Clinical pharmacists will look after one ward only and accept no extra duties,
- Ward pagers will be left in the 'pharmacist pod' during breaks
- PBS prescriptions will be supplied as non-PBS
- Discharges will not be accepted after 2pm
- There will be no deliveries of medications to wards
- Drug returns will not be processed
- HSU leaflets will be handed out with medication
- Pharmacy members will use an out-of-office automatic email reply that states that the member is taking part in industrial action and will not be responding to any emails (however any urgent patient safety issues can be directed to the member's pager or phone)
These actions will last for 24 hours commencing at 0000 hours 31 of May 2023.
