At the end of 2023, your HSU bargaining committee presented a log of claims for bargaining with St Vincent’s Lismore. We are now seeking feedback, from members only, about St Vincent’s set of responses to our claims. Please click here to view them.
Here are the positive responses from St Vincent’s:
- 5 per cent increase to wages backdated to May 2023, and a further 5 per cent increase in May 2024. St Vincent’s has stated that this is their “best and final” wages offer.
- 5 per cent increase to existing allowances, including (but not limited to) the allowances for: linen; leading hand; uniform/laundry; on-call.
- Superannuation contribution to be paid to an employee while they are on paid maternity leave.
However, St Vincents is saying no to most of members’ other claims, including special leave for natural disasters; better notice of changes to rosters; and increases to the maximum accrual for RDOs.
