Fairfield Hospital Vaccination Advice

Published March 5, 2021
During your organiser’s recent visit to Food Services at Fairfield Hospital, members raised concerns about being told to travel to the vaccination clinic in their own time. Your organiser vowed to follow up and seek clarification on this matter.
The below response has been provided directly by the Manager of Industrial Relations for HealthShare:
This is not correct. Currently HealthShare staff who are invited and go to one of the vaccination hubs do so on work time and this practice will continue.
Our approach will be the same as LHDs and follow the processes established by the Ministry.
This response will hopefully resolve any miscommunication. However, if you have any remaining concerns, or if the direction you receive conflicts with the above advice, please contact your Organiser Matt Ramsay via email [E-Mail not displayed].
