Couriers at Douglass Hanly Moir were previously covered by the Douglass Laboratories Courier Enterprise Agreement, an outdated agreement that hasn’t been re-negotiated since 1995.

With the lapse of this agreement, DHM management have now advised they do not wish to negotiate a new agreement, but instead want to include couriers with other workers under the Health Professionals & Support Services Agreement 2023.

If the transition is agreed to, DHM have said that current rates of pay will be maintained, and couriers will be subject to annual increases as decided by the Fair Work Commission.
