HSU members at Anglicare DBH have raised concerns about management adding extra duties outside of their existing roles, with care staff on morning shift being assigned additional servery duties.

Management is attempting to make these changes without written notice or formal consultation, which is a requirement of your enterprise agreement.

HSU members are yet to receive any written notice about the changes and management have not responded to requests for affected workers’ position descriptions.

Your employer is required under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 No 10 to consult with you when proposing changes that may affect the health or safety of workers.

Make sure to attend today’s meeting to discuss the issue and next steps.
