The government resorted to taking ADHSU to the IRC today to seek orders against tomorrow’s reasonable, safe, and effective industrial action members call: ‘Paramedics in training support protest’. This action is where crews with trainees (including trainee ICPs must form at least a three-person team. This ensures that each trainee continues to be a prominent part of the team, but is also given direct, one-on-one mentoring throughout the case cycle.
The IRC made orders – link to orders here. It should be noted that IRC orders have same or similar force as court orders.
ADHSU delegates have met to consider the orders and have recommended that all endorsed industrial action continue as planned. Follow this link to see the full list of all endorsed industrial action.
Good luck with the action from tomorrow, don’t forget to proudly voice your support and participation in the HSU action when signing on.
