Delegate Meeting with HealthShare about red zones

On Wednesday union Delegates from across NSW met with HealthShare management to discuss HealthShare’s proposal that food services workers enter red zones.
HealthShare management heard loud and clear: it is not safe or fair for food services workers to enter red zones. Delegates told management about their everyday experiences of working in food services; being understaffed, poor safety and hygiene, and unfair workloads.
Despite this, HealthShare told your delegates that they are planning for a trial of food services workers entering red zones.
Union members across NSW know this idea needs to be scrapped. Members will fight hard against the implementation of any trial of this unsafe proposal.
Stay tuned for more updates.
