Changes to the way we apply for our infectious and nauseous linen allowances are unfair!

Members have voted to fight back against this new process by passing the below resolution.

From Monday 23 October 2023, HSU members who need to follow the new process to get the infectious and nauseous allowances will commence the following work bans:

1. No emptying of clinical waste bins
2. No terminal / discharge cleaning
3. No interacting with nauseous linen

HSU members do not take this action lightly. Concord Hospital management have been given the opportunity to address this issue and have chosen to ignore it.
