CHS: Review of Care of Persons Subject to a Forensic Mental Health Order

Canberra Health Services Division of Mental Health, Justice Health, and Alcohol & Drug Services (MHJHADS) has undertaken a review of the Care of a Person Subject to a Forensic Mental Health Order procedure.

Canberra Health Services claims that the purpose of this procedure is to ensure staff practise according to their legislated obligations and provide effective clinical treatment, care, and support for persons subject to Forensic Mental Health Order (FMHO), which are a:

  • Forensic Psychiatric Treatment Order (FPTO) or
  • Forensic Community Care Order (FCCO).
