CCLHD Medical Imaging: Proposed staff cuts and roster changes
-
Published April 27, 2022
The HSU held a highly successful members meeting last night to discuss concerns around recent restructure proposals for Medical Imaging. Members are strongly opposed to the proposed staffing cuts and roster changes.
At last night’s meeting, members resolved the following:
- Opposed the proposal to delete positions in medical imaging. And call upon for the recruitment of these positions immediately.
- The refusal to reduce shift lengths unless it is part of a genuine flexible workplace arrangement and call upon for the reinstatement of 8 hour shifts immediately in the administration team.
- HSU members have also resolved unanimously not to engage in any consultation or feedback sessions regarding the proposals, due to a huge number of concerns that are present. Your Union will provide a full list of concerns as soon as possible to management.
- Members also resolve that all correspondence regarding the restructure proposals be first communicated in writing through the HSU.
If you know someone who hasn’t yet joined the HSU, tell them to get on board and have a say today. New members can join at www.hsu.asn.au/join or call 1300 478 679.
