Published February 1, 2022
The HSU has received correspondence from CCLHD regarding a proposal to re-structure and re organise Medical Imaging Departments, Admin Section at Gosford and Wyong. The correspondence can be viewed at this link.
A summary of the proposal is below:
- Proposed deletion of EA to Director Medical Imaging and Breast Screen Liaison position.
- Proposed reduction of Gosford K3 Admin Officers by 0.25 FTE to reduce the evening shift length to 6 hrs.
- Proposed reduction of Wyong Admin Officers by 0.25FTE to reduce the evening shift length to 6 hrs.
- Proposed reduction of Gosford B4 Admin Officers by 0.3FTE in accordance with the 7 days per fortnight clinics.
- Proposed reduction of Wyong Admin Officers by 0.5FTE in accordance with the 5 days per fortnight clinics.
Management has proposed that the duties of the EA to the Director of Medical Imaging role is will be picked up by Medical Imaging Admin Manager and Clinical Director EA.
The HSU is very concerned about the impacts of this proposal. The employer is proposing not only to delete of a position but also to reduce evening shift lengths from eight hours to six hours.
We’re asking affected members to provide feedback to the HSU at [E-Mail not displayed] using subject line CCLHD Medical Imaging Admin by close of business 9 February.
Your HSU organiser Matt Ramsay will also be visiting members to speak with affected staff.
