Published November 5, 2024
Dear Member,
Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) are proposing to restructure the Inpatient Unit Administration (AO2) and management structures within patient services at Gosford and Woy Woy hospitals.
This restructure is all about cost cutting. Not about patient care.
Twenty-six part-time employees at Gosford and one part-time employee at Woy Woy will lose their jobs under this proposal.
There will be changes to shift patterns, rosters, and how administration support will be provided.
Management are not being transparent about the scope of the job losses. Impacted staff will have to reapply for their jobs. Staff are not being treated with dignity or respect.
