Canterbury Hospital Parking Arrangements

The HSU and the Mayor of Canterbury Bankstown Council have been working together regarding ongoing parking issues at Canterbury Hospital.
On the 16th of March, Secretary Gerard Hayes and Mayor Khal Asfour announced an extension to the current arrangements for HSU members at Canterbury Hospital. This will allow health workers to continue to park in the timed zones around Canterbury and Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospitals for their entire shift without being fined, as long as a parking pass is displayed.
The Union commends this decision by the Mayor and Councillors of Canterbury Bankstown Council. We believe all health workers should have access to free parking at their workplaces.
