The HSU has been advised of a proposed Executive and Operational Restructure at Calvary Mater Newcastle Hospital.

The proposed restructure would see the realignment of the Medicine and Palliative Care and Critical Care and Surgical Services portfolio under the Director of Medical Services (DMS) and the Director of Nursing and Cancer Services (DON&CS) portfolios.

As a result, the Director of Medicine and Palliative Care and Director of Clinical Care and Surgical Services roles would be deleted from the structure.
