Members at Bankstown hospital expressed jubilation at their hard-fought win today. Members have spent much of the week fighting to restore their rights and the attack on their work/life balance. Management intended to change their start and finish times without proper consultation.

The members stood together and refused to back down. They had informed their manager of their concerns and were referred to the Staff Wellbeing Service instead of having their issues heard. This caused great anguish amongst the members, but their grit and determination resulted in management backing down one hour prior to the members gathering to take action.  

Organiser Gina Agius, has received feedback from the members acknowledging pride in their win.
