This morning, ADHSU delegates put a vote to the membership to ban attending unpaid BLS assessments.

Members quickly and overwhelmingly voted in support of the ban.

The following ban is now in force:

HSU members will not attend mandatory BLS assessments outside of work hours unless paid overtime.

The ban will be lifted once NSWA confirms in writing and notifies all staff that BLS Assessments will only occur in rostered ordinary hours or on paid overtime.
