-
Published August 30, 2023
AWLHD is proposing redesign of the after-hours crisis sexual assault service.
The proposal is being driven by the implementation of the NSW Violence Abuse & Neglect (VAN) integrated service model & Vic Strengthening Hospitals Response to Family Violence (SHRFV) initiatives.
AWLHD is Proposing to run a pilot of the new model for 3 months to evaluate the model efficacy including demand & resourcing needs.
The new model will likely see an increase in callbacks and demand for clinical escalation.
