Aurora EBA Update: improvements but wage offer still lagging

Your HSU Bargaining Team met with Aurora management on 31 July.

Aurora has provided an updated draft enterprise agreement, which your HSU Bargaining Team is currently reviewing.

Aurora has also provided an updated response to your log of claims, which includes:

  • HSU Workload Management Clause
  • HSU participation in orientation of new employees
  • 5 days Union Delegate Leave
  • Vicarious Trauma training available to all staff through Kineo training module

While this is a positive step forward, the current 2.75% per annum wage increase does not keep up with the growing cost of living.

Now it’s up to members to determine if this offer is up to scratch.
