The HSU is a progressive organisation with a vision to recognise excellence in the workplace. The HSU is committed to excellence among members – not only as union representatives, but as clinicians. 

The Ambulance Division currently has the delegate structure to progress member-driven excellence awards. These awards acknowledge clinical excellence, leadership, career potential, and outstanding service to the community. Awards will be presented at the 2023 HSU Conference.

The HSU is calling for nominations from the Ambulance Division Membership for:

• Clinical Excellence Award
• Paramedic of the Future
• Outstanding Case of the Year

Nominees for the award must be financial members of the HSU and all nominations will require a seconding member.

Nominations should be 500 words or less and should identify the qualities of a colleague or case that line up with the nomination criteria. Members should use the nomination webform at this link (if you prefer, you can find a writable PDF form at this link). The suggested excellence criteria for each award are available here.

Completed nominations can be submitted through the webform, forwarded to [E-Mail not displayed], or mailed to ADHSU Clinical Excellence c/o HSU, Level 2 109 Pitt St Sydney 2000.
