Rankin Park-John Hunter Campus: First Project CHEF USCC held

Dear Member,

HealthShare recently agreed to conduct fortnightly USCC meetings and consult with workers ahead of rolling out the CHEF Pilot Program after HSU members raised serious concerns.

You can read more about how HSU members won this consultation here.

The first Project CHEF consultation has now occurred at Rankin Park, with management revealing the following items:

  • HealthShare is planning a staff training day for the last week of January 2025, with training dates to be finalised soon.
  • This is expected to include two to three days of training, including preparation of the new menu, integration with the existing menu and a practice run.
  • HealthShare has also confirmed there will be no changes to rosters and no changes for Food Services Assistants or cleaners and wardspeople.

You can review the following documents below:

Feedback should be provided to HSU delegate Sam Broadbent-Nelson at [E-Mail not displayed] by noon Friday, 6 December 2024.

Do you know someone who isn’t an HSU member? Encourage them to join our Union today and have a say at work. We are always stronger when we stand together.
