On Tuesday evening, HSU members at IRT came together and unanimously passed a motion to formally endorse the HSU log of claims. This log will form the foundation of your platform to demand real and lasting improvements to your working lives.

The top priorities for HSU members are: a wage we can live on; a more democratic workplace; a safer workplace; and recognition of the value of our work.

What’s Next? 

Your rank-and-file HSU bargaining committee will be meeting with IRT management on Thursday, 6 December to: 

• Present and discuss the endorsed claims.
• Lay out the plan for the remainder of the year.
• Set a clear path for negotiations to recommence in the new year.

This is just the beginning of the fight to secure the wages, conditions, and respect you deserve. Your voice and unity are what make this campaign strong!
